We really like to upgrade GYMs. As you might know, we installed the LED lighting in the Saints & Stars GYM, Vondel GYM and the Boutique GYM. And now we added ‘De Krachtcentrale’ (The power station) GYM to our portfolio.
“De Krachtcentrale” (The Power Station) is an industrial building on the Havenstraat in Huizen. Besides of the restaurant, two artists, a goldsmith and a musician you will also find a boutique gym. According to the owners Henny Westland and Jephrey de Rooij, “De Krachtcentrale Gym” is not an average gym. Therefore, you will not find average lighting in this gym, but an interactive LED ceiling that can be set for the desired atmosphere, from beast mode to a relaxed workout.

Together with DiGidot, we attended, Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt. The DiGidot is a small and powerful LED controller. One device drives more than 6000 singles LEDs. Audience prize for 'Vespucci wat ben je mooi' | |
Frederike Top won with her artwork ‘Vespucci wat ben je mooi’ the public prize OVL Inspiration Award 2018. This light artwork lights up the streets with special and warm sentences. De sentences are conceived by the neighbourhood itself. Above the streets you can read the following sentences: 'jij mag er wezen' ('you are nice'), 'gelukkig woon ik hier' ('luckily I live here'), 'en jij daar', ('and you over there') and 'Vespucci wat ben je mooi' ('Vespucci you are beautiful'). The 17th of May from 14:00 till 17:00, we organize a new MADRIX workshop. MADRIX is the software control for LED pixel installations. MADRIX has been used for the krachtcentrale GYM.
