TiBE2020 Conference

The CIBIO-InBIO at the University of Porto hosted a three-day virtual conference on Metabarcoding and Metagenomics from 9-11 December, to foster cost-efficient environmental monitoring programmes in ecological and environmental research.

   

WCMB 2020

The World Conference on Marine Biodiversity, 13-15 December 2020, was successfully hosted online by the University of Auckland. LifeWatch ERIC was given the privilege to support the international event as platinum sponsor.

   

Historic Italian Dataset

The Castelporziano Presidential Estate near Rome, Italy, has just published its species checklist and a series of 4 serious games designed to support citizens and students in discovering its biodiversity and ecosystem richness.

   
     

The ENVRI community International Winter School on Data FAIRness, online 11-22 January, covers semantic navigation, Jupyter, resource access tools, and cloud computing.

ENVRI Week, 1-5 February, is organized once a year and is dedicated to Environmental Research Infrastructures. It targets different stakeholders and hosts ENVRI-FAIR related project sessions.

Aquaculture Europe 2020 "The Blue and the Green", postponed until 12-15 April 2021, will bring together diverse disciplines to debate new circular economies and sustainable production.
