On 28 September 2020, LifeWatch ERIC held centre stage at Science Digital @ UNGA 75, an online event organised to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the United Nations and to explore issues regarding the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by the UN in 2015. |

The LifeWatch Belgium Users and Stakeholders meeting on 15-16 October featured interesting users' stories, followed by a full day of demonstrations. Conducted entirely online because of Covid-19, it still attracted 100 participants. |

The Italian Society of Ecology (SItE) had to postpone its annual congress because of Covid-19, but staged a day of online Roundtables in conjunction with LifeWatch Italy and the Ecology Laboratory at the University of Salento. |

Annually, the ERIC Forum prepares policy briefs that address topics of relevance to all of its members and that contribute to strengthening the European Research Area. Technical and Innovation Reports were presented online 14-15 September. |

The 8th General Assembly of LifeWatch ERIC will be convened on Thursday 26 November, 2020. The GA will be hosted online and members will be advised of joining instructions. |

TiBE2020, 9 -11 December. The tenth edition of the Trends in Biodiversity and Evolution conference (TiBE) will be virtual this year and focus on Metabarcoding and Metagenomics. |

WCMB 2020, 13-16 December, will be fully virtual because of uncertainties in participants ability to travel to Auckland, New Zealand. The programme is designed to accommodate varying time-zones. |
