Our latest achievements

To ensure widespread adoption of robotics, it is important to consider the non-technological aspects of robots technology development process. Robotics4EU is boosting this process, and this is what we have been up to lately:
|
|
-
From November 2021 to June 2022 Robotics4EU has organised 21 workshops on non technological aspects of healthcare, agri-food, agile production and inspection and maintenance robotics.
-
The Danish Board of Technology has organised citizen consultations on robotics – check out the results. Furthermore, the companies now have the opportunity to test their robotics solutions with end-users – we will organise online consultations and co-creation events with citizens. If your company is not yet part of that, please contact us and let us collaborate.
-
Importantly, we continue working on standardisation and Responsible Robotics Maturity Assessment Model and results of all our activities will be presented on the Robospot platform.
-
The world is opening up and we are happy to be part of the TechEthos cluster addressing ethical challenges related to emerging technologies, collaborating with RIMA network, euRobotics and a number of other projects.

If you are attending the European Robotics Forum from June 28-30, 2022 in Rotterdam visit us in booth no 21. We are happy to talk to you about the project results in person and you can also check out our virtual reality exhibition. A hint – if you have a robot that you are proud to present, let us know and we are happy to include it´s 3D model to our exhibition, which will travel to various technology events.
Come and join also our on-site workshop on “Policy issues in Robotics for Infrastructure & Maintenance” on June 29th, 9:50-10:30 in Room 4.
Or join us either online or on-site on August 29, 2022 at the RO-MAN 2022 conference where we host a responsible robotics workshop.
See you around!

Our News

In the fall of 2021, the Robotics4EU project conducted a citizen consultation in which 742 citizens across 12 different countries were engaged in discussions on questions regarding non-technological aspects of robotic technology. The aim of this citizen engagement activity was to map the wishes, barriers, and concerns that ordinary people might have towards the increasing implementation of robotic technology and what they think it might mean for their future.
Access below on the “results” sections the factsheet with some of the most noteworthy findings from the citizen consultations.
